Hello from feedback club!
I think you made it perfectly well with the sky and clouds.
As for standing out things all is quite simple - things closer are darker and more detailed. So I think if the tree had more yexture and oyu haven't used black for back trees the middle tree would stand out more. Also the black around the picture is fighting with the picture - it's too solid, so you better use other colour for it.

I think you did a lovely job here :aww:
I think the shadow on the tree is too harsh, though. It implies a very strong and direct lighting from the left (which would also require a sharp shadow, btw ;) ) but the sunlight normally reflects a lot outside... from the sky, the ground, other plants... so I think the shadow should not be solid black. I also think, depending on what kind of tree it is, a bit structure would help to make it stand out more. I hope that helps you a bit :D

I love this piece! I guess my only thing would be that it looks a little unbalanced. I think that if you emphasized the trees on the right more, it would balance the composition.

But other than that it looks great ;)
